Public Outreach Activities The Public Talk series at IUCAA has been renamed 'Chandra Public Lectures' to honor Prof. Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, whose name is also given to the venue, the Chandrasekhar Auditorium. December 03, 2024 - Talk by Jane Charlton (Penn State University, USA) titled 'The Life of aQuark'. December 05, 2024 - Talk by Lutz Wisotzki (Leibniz-Institut für Astrophysik Potsdam (AIP)) titled 'The cosmic time machine – What the light from distant galaxies can tell us'.
