Devasthal Optical Telescope Integral Field Spectrograph (DOTIFS) is a new multi-object integral field spectrograph being built by IUCAA, for the 3.6 m Devasthal Optical Telescope (DOT), which has been constructed by the Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), Nainital. DOTIFS is mainly designed to study the physics and kinematics of ionized gas, star formation and H II regions in the nearby galaxies. This is a novel The SolarUltraviolet ImagingTelescope The Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT) on board ISRO's Aditya-L1 mission will for the first time provide full disk observations of the Sun in the wavelength range of 200 - 400 nm. This mission is already approved and is scheduled to be launched by 2020. SUIT will observe the solar atmosphere, from the lower photosphere to the upper chromosphere, using 11 different filters that will be imaging the different layers simultaneously. The instrument has gone through preliminary design review in December 2016 and January 2017. Figure 29 displays the current model of the SUITpayload.
